Why YogaretreatThailand.com?
The Yoga taught at Ashram is different from that taught in any other school. Unlike the yoga found in contemporary yoga schools, Yoga at ashram is not based on mere physicality.
We do not see a yogi as a set of muscles and bones which need to be pulled into android-like positions. We teach āsanas from a timeless tantric formula based on the subtle energy system.
Due to the richness of the tradition, our students master their āsanas in a fraction of the time of any other yoga school.
Our courses build a thorough understanding of all aspects of Yoga. These courses lead to a complete personal practice and allow one to share this tradition as a tantric teacher.
We encourage students to come for a long-term study of Tantra (Kaula system) in order to experience life to the fullest.
During the final week of every month, we will continue to have a long class every morning to deepen many aspects of what we have learned during the month, and allow the rest of the day free for more relaxed study, personal practice, and integration while living in our community.
Students starting in one program are also welcome (and often do) extend to our longer-term programs.
Because we continually operate as an ashram, we provide a space for all seekers that want to transform their life culture into one that is very positive and holistic through the practices of traditional Tantra Yoga.
